These terms cover the use of the Lab Batch website and the formulation, sampling, and manufacturing services we provide to Australian customers.

The service
Lab Batch reviews submitted cosmetic formulas, produces lab-scale samples for review, and — once approved — quotes and produces production batches. Every submission is reviewed by a qualified cosmetic chemist. We may decline or request changes to any formula on safety, regulatory, or manufacturability grounds.
Fees
Chemist review is a flat fee per submission and is non-refundable once review begins. Production batches are quoted separately based on formula, batch size, and packaging. Prices are in Australian Dollars and exclude GST unless stated.
Your formula
You retain ownership of any proprietary formula you submit. By submitting, you grant Lab Batch the licence necessary to review, mix, document, and manufacture it for you. You are responsible for confirming you have the rights to any third-party content in your submission.
Liability
Samples and batches are produced for your evaluation and are subject to your own testing, labelling, and regulatory compliance before resale. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Lab Batch’s liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the affected submission or batch.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
